Welcome to Network System Laboratory (NSL). Our research position is to develop fundamental design concepts and methodologies for wireless networks and high speed networks based on theories from stochastic networks, control, optimization, etc. Prof. Chong is a leading expert in the area with more than 15 year experience in both industry (AT&T Bell Labs, Holmdel) and academia (The Univ. of Texas at Austin, Sogang Univ. and KAIST). The topics we have been studying include Software Defined Networking for Internet of Things, stochastic modeling and analysis in cloud computing, dynamic resource allocation in edge network, and learning as network optimizer. Other members of Netsys lab., currently consisting of 6 Ph.D and 4 Master students, are also highly qualified individuals who were selected among the best engineering students in Korea.
